Diversification of tokens is not as important as before. What you should care about is the share of your BTC compared to the rest of your portfolio. It will be more effective to plan the proportion of BTC/alts in your portfolio.
Starting from 2017, all altcoins began to move in the same direction, as if it was a single index. The diversification of coins is no longer as important as before. The only thing you need to take care of is the share of your BTC compared to the rest of your portfolio.
There is no point in splitting your deposit into 20 different coins, losing a large percentage on commissions and then wasting time tracking progress on each project. It will be much more effective to choose no more than 5-7 altcoins and to plan the proportion of BTC/alts in your portfolio.
In the earlier post we found out that the growth of the BTC and the active fresh blood supply increase the chances for the alt's season. This means that the higher the price of Bitcoin and the more the excitement of the crowd is, the bigger part of the portfolio can be allocated to the altcoin. Then it can later be sold on the pump. Let me remind you that in 2017 the first AltSeason started after Bitcoin broke through the previous highs ($1000).
